Build the world. Tell the story. Whatever form it takes.
LorEvolve is a place to build a fictional world and write the stories that happen in it. I'm opening it to a small group of early testers, and I'd love your help shaping it.
Want to try it early?
The alpha is small on purpose. Invitations go out in waves, starting with a handful of people, so I can actually listen to everyone. Expect rough edges and things that change. What helps most is honest feedback: what works, what doesn't, and what's missing.
One place for your whole world.
Worldbuilding tends to end up scattered. A document for characters, a spreadsheet for dates, a folder of maps, a few notes on your phone you can never find again.
LorEvolve keeps all of it together, and it keeps it connected. Record that two characters are siblings and both of their pages know it, and the family tree draws it. Put a date on an event and the timeline puts it in order. You write something down once and it shows up everywhere it matters.
It's meant for anyone who builds worlds: novelists, game masters, screenwriters, comic artists, or people who just like making places up.
What you can do with it
Open any part to see what it does and why it's there.
-
Lore
A page for every character, place and thing.
Every character, place, faction or object gets a page of its own, with an article, a picture and whatever details you want to keep track of.
No more digging through one long document. Anything in your world is a search away.
-
Lore types
Your world's structure, designed by you.
You decide what kinds of things your world has and what each one records. A character might have a birth date and a home; a ship might have a crew. Types can sit inside other types.
The structure fits your world, instead of your world bending to someone else's template.
-
Family Tree
Record who's related. The tree draws itself.
Record how characters are related and the tree draws itself: parents, children, partners, across as many generations as you have.
Big families get confusing fast. The tree shows it at a glance and stays right as you change things.
-
Maps
Your maps, with your lore pinned on them.
Upload your own maps and pin your lore onto them. Each pin opens its page. Give a map a scale and you can measure distances on it.
You can see where things are and how far apart, without holding it all in your head.
-
World Rules
How your world works, written down and checked.
Write down how your world works, in your own words. Some rules can carry a check that LorEvolve runs against your timeline.
Your world stays consistent, and you hear about it when an event breaks one of your own rules.
-
Chronology
Your world's own ages, eras and calendar.
Your world keeps its own time: its own ages and eras, and its own calendar if it needs one.
Dates read the way they would inside the story, not squeezed into ours.
-
Stories
Write the story inside the world.
Write your stories inside the world, in chapters and scenes, and plan the plot alongside them. Mention a character or a place as you write.
The lore sits right next to the page, so checking a detail doesn't mean switching apps.
-
Timeline
Everything in order, with mistakes caught.
Events in order, and who was there for each one.
You can see what happened when, and LorEvolve points out what doesn't add up, like a character turning up after their own death.
-
Ideas
Room for what isn't settled yet.
Somewhere for thoughts that aren't part of the world yet, and boards where you can lay out notes and pages and draw lines between them.
Half-formed ideas get a home without cluttering the world you've already settled.
-
Progression stages
How characters change across eras.
People and things change. Record how someone looks, what they can do and which forms they take in each era.
You always know what a character was like at any point in the story.
-
Public portal
Share the world, keep your notes.
When you're ready, publish your world for others to read. You pick exactly which pages and stories go public. The rest stays private.
Share your world with readers or players without handing over your notes.

Your own AI, connected
Claude, ChatGPT and others can work with your world.
LorEvolve speaks MCP, an open standard that lets an AI app use another app's data. You sign in to LorEvolve from Claude, ChatGPT or any app that supports it, pick one world, and choose what it may do.
It can read: search your lore, follow family lines, read your scenes, walk the timeline, look at your pictures and measure distances on your maps. Ask "has this character ever been to the capital?" and the answer comes from what you wrote, not from guesses.
Only if you allow it, it can also suggest changes: draft characters, add events, write a scene. Each one waits in a review list inside LorEvolve, where you see exactly what would change and accept or reject it. Nothing is written behind your back.
It runs on the AI app you already use, it's off until you connect it, and you can disconnect at any time. There's also a built-in assistant if you'd rather stay inside LorEvolve.
